The Hilton McLean Hotel is located 13 miles from Dulles International Airport and 13 miles from Washington National Airport. The hotel is in walking distance to the Silver Line Metro providing easy access to downtown Washington, DC. The hotel offers complimentary parking and wifi.

They also offer complimentary shuttle service within a one-mile radius from the hotel which includes the Tysons Corner Center Mall, Tysons Galleria, and Metro. They also have a complimentary 24 hour tech lounge, an outdoor sundeck and a 24-hour fitness center.

The hotel’s Härth Restaurant offers American cuisine and fireside dining. It recently won best restaurant of the year award by the McLean Chamber of Congress and was recognized as one of the area’s top 50 restaurants by NOVA magazine.

Friday Afternoon Happy Hour, 3:00 - 5:30 PM, Tyson's Biergarten (3 minutes from hotel) Email Steve

Tyson’s Biergarten is a unique venue just a mile from the hotel. It is an indoor/outdoor facility offering a large variety of Belgium and German beers as well as American craft beers. Wine, cocktails, and soft drinks are also available. They offer a menu of pub food as well. When you arrive at the Biergarten you need to purchase green chips (these are sold during their happy hour that runs from 3-9pm. Each chip costs $8.48 and includes tax and can be exchanged for a drink or food item. For more information please go to the website (linked above).

Saturday Morning Golf, 10:00 AM, Depart for 11:30 tee time at Trump National Golf Club (17 miles from hotel) Email Steve

Gregg Turk is a member at Trump National and was kind enough to set up tee times beginning on Saturday at 11:30 am for those interested in golfing on one of Northern Virginia’s premier courses. Gregg has secured the tee times on the Championship Course. Green fees are $125, cart fee $34 including tax, and caddie fee is $35 for a total of $192. Transportation to and from the course will be coordinated with former classmates who live locally.

Saturday Afternoon Winery Tour, Paradise Springs Winery in Clifton, VA (19 miles from hotel) Return to hotel by 4:30 pm Email Steve

Paradise Springs Winery is in a serene country setting just outside the town of Clifton, VA. It is approximately 19 miles from the hotel. Depending on how many want to participate will determine how we coordinate ground transportation. If we charter a bus/coach cost would be $20 per person round trip. Regardless we will depart from the hotel at 1:30 pm and return by 4:30 pm. Wine tastings costs for groups of 8 or more is $20 per person. Wine can also be purchased by the glass or bottle. Food/snacks are also available for purchase. We will reserve a private area and arrange the appropriate transportation once we determine how many will participate in the winery excursion.
